Services
All sessions will take place on location, in the comfort of your home, or in my home studio. There will be a $50.00 travel charge if more than 15 miles from Lisle. A $50.00 non-refundable booking fee is required to hold your spot and will be applied to your balance. I understand that children can be unpredictable, and it may be necessary to reschedule, so please allow as much time as possible.

NEWBORN SESSION INFO:
It is never too early to book a newborn session. Please call to schedule before you have your baby. Because your baby's birth date is unpredictable, a time frame will be reserved for you. If you are given an induction or c-section date, the actual session date can be booked in advance. If you are letting baby surprise you, your due date will be noted and arrangements will be made as soon as your baby arrives.
THE PERFECT AGE: I prefer to photograph babies between 6-11 days old. Older newborns tend to sleep less and do not curl up as easily. Newborn acne and colic may flare up at around 1.5-2 weeks of age as well.
YOUR SESSION: Your sessions will be based according to each individual newborn's needs. It’s not uncommon for the session to last 2 - 3 hours, allowing plenty of time for feedings and comforting. I recommend that you keep your home a bit warmer than normal during the session. (Like a toasty 80 degrees or so.) Newborns are used to being all bundled up, warm & cozy…and then we come in and yank off all their clothes for those adorable naked baby shots. They tend not to like that! Keeping the temp nice and warm guarantees the session to flow smoothly and help baby sleep better. We may be sweating, but baby will be nice and warm…and that’s really all that matters! I will also bring along a space heater.
Must Haves: Please take out any bows, hats, or props you would like for pictures, I will also bring some you may use. Other must-have items to have on hand: pacifier, bottle, burp cloth.

*If shooting outdoors the best time is early in the morning just before noon or in the late afternoon before sunset. Please make sure to schedule your appointment at the best time for your child so they are at their best.
